Get a full or partial refund on your myki or paper ticket.

You must meet eligibility criteria to get a refund.

In some cases, you may only get a partial refund due to poor service or faults.

You can also replace a myki, paper ticket or student ID, including transferring the balance.

Refund myki Money or a myki Pass

Use this online form to get a full or partial refund on your myki Money, myki Pass, or Commuter Club myki (eligibility criteria apply). You can only use this form with an Australian bank account.

myki refund limits

If you get a refund on a myki fare, you can only move a maximum of $250 to your myki Money account.

Your myki Money account can’t be any higher than $1,000.

If your refund hits these limits, we will send your money to a bank account instead.

How refunds are calculated

We calculate your refund from the day you submit your refund request.

Our refunds policy follows the Victorian fares and ticketing manual.
