Where group travel is available
Group travel is available for all public transport services:
within Zones 1+2
on regional buses within Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Seymour and Latrobe Valley.
How group travel works
The entire group must travel together, getting on and off at the same stations or stops.
You can buy a 2 hour or daily Group Travel Authority ticket.
Most groups eligible for discounted travel will be charged the concession fare (50 per cent off the full fare), multiplied by the number of people in your group.
If your group is travelling on multiple days, you need a Group Travel Authority for each day’s travel.
Your Group Travel Authority can be displayed on a mobile device, or printed out and carried with the group.
You don’t need to use a myki if you’re travelling on a Group Travel Authority.
We cannot give you a refund if your trip is cancelled, or if there are fewer people than you paid for.
You can’t use a Group Travel Authority on the Night Network.
Having a Group Travel Authority doesn’t guarantee a reserved seat on a service.
