Public transport for VFLW Grand Final and VFL Grand Final: Sunday 20 September 2026 


The 2026 VFLW and VFL Grand Finals return to IKON Park on Sunday 20 September. Public transport is your best way to enjoy it, with extra tram services to help you get to and from the match. 

  • VFLW Grand Final starts: 11.00 am
  • VFL Grand Final starts: 2:05 pm

Metropolitan train

Getting to and from IKON Park 

Passengers wishing to catch the train are advised to catch the Upfield line to Royal Park Station. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to the stadium.

Route 19 

  • Due to the upgrade of the Brunswick Tram Depot, buses replace trams on this route between Stop 19 Brunswick Road and North Coburg. 

Route 19a

  • Additional shuttle services will operate for two hours before the VFL match and an hour after the match between Stop 1 Flinders Street Station / Elizabeth Street and Stop 19 Brunswick Road / Sydney Road.
