Extra Public transport services will run for the Red Hot Summer music festival at Victoria Park in Ballarat on Saturday 7 November 2026. 

Gates open at 12.30pm.

Metropolitan train 

Getting to and from Melbourne 

Normal trains will operate via Southern Cross Station for passengers wishing to connect to a regional train travelling to and from Ballarat. 

Metropolitan tram 

Getting to and from Melbourne 

Regular Trams operate via Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations, for passengers wishing to connect to a regional train travelling to and from Ballarat. 

Regional bus 

Getting to and from Victoria Park, Ballarat 

Melbourne on the Move is operating a Ballarat service between Ballarat Civic Hall and Victoria Park. These buses will also operate return services to Civic Hall at the conclusion of the event.

Regional train 

Getting to and from Victoria Park, Ballarat 

Passengers arriving at Southern Cross station are advised to change trains and catch a Ballarat service. 

Extra trains will operate for passengers to and from Ballarat Station before and after the after the event. 

  • Departing Southern Cross at 9.36am
  • Departing Ballarat at 10.45pm
  • Departing Ballarat at 11.15pm
