Metropolitan train

Additional services for the following lines depart after the match:

  • Ringwood, Glen Waverly, Frankston, Sandringham, Glen Waverly, Frankston, Sandringham

Mernda / Hurstbridge passengers are to board a Frankston service at Richmond (Platform 3) and transfer at Parliament for a bus. 

Pakenham / Cranbourne Passengers are to board a Westall service from Town Hall, then transfer at Westall for a bus. 

Passengers wanting to alight on services departing Flinders Street are advised to alight on trains departing from Richmond or Jolimont or alternatively board Route 75 Trams.

  • Trams will operate from Flinders Street / Elizabeth Street (Stop 4) and Stop 7C MCG/John Cain Arena.

Customers can catch the following buses close to the MCG:
