Anzac Day 2026
We're running extra public transport services to help you get to Anzac Day commemorations at the Shrine of Remembrance. With the opening of Anzac Station, there are now new ways to move to the Dawn Service at the Shrine this year.
The 2026 Melbourne Dawn Service will be held from 5:30 am to 6:30 am on Saturday 25 April 2026.
We're running early morning trams on selected routes so you can reach the Shrine in time for the Dawn Service. Plan ahead using the key‑stop timetables.
Bookings have now closed for the free shuttle buses to and from the Shrine of Remembrance on Anzac Day. See pick up and drop off locations below.
Public transport is free across Victoria for everyone until Sunday 31 May 2026. No myki or ticket is needed.
