Phillip Island Road, Newhaven site compound information

Work to establish our site at the corner of Woody Point Court, Old Bridge Drive and Phillip Island Road, Newhaven, will include:

• Installing fences around site boundaries
• Placing crushed rock within the site compound
• Installing site offices and worker amenities such as a first aid shed, bathrooms and kitchens, as well as an area for storing materials and equipment needed for the project.

We will section off no-go zones to protect endangered plant species during construction.  

What to expect 

While we set up the site compound, you may notice:

• Minor lane closures and disruptions to traffic as we bring materials in to build our site compounds
• Fencing around site compounds and storage areas
• Workers moving between the San Remo bridge and our site compounds
• Low-level noise as we build our site sheds and bring equipment to site
• Some workers’ vehicles parked on local streets – we’ll advise workers where to park to minimise the impact on the community.
