Get a student ID
School students (including home-school) and tertiary students need a Transport Victoria school student ID or a Transport Victoria Approved School ID to get a Victorian Student Pass. You must carry your school ID when you travel with a Victorian Student Pass.
Ask your school or tertiary institution if your school student ID is Transport Victoria approved.
If your school ID isn't Transport Victoria approved, you will need to get a Transport Victoria School Student ID when applying for your Victorian Student Pass.
It costs $9 to get a Transport Victoria school student ID.
