Renew your licence at VicRoads
Licence renewals are available for either ten years or three years for people under 75 years and for 3 years for those 75 and over. A three-year licence renewal allows you more frequent opportunity to consider your driving needs and whether you need to notify DTP Medical Review of a medical condition or disability. Notification aims to support your ongoing driving safety.
Renew your licence from interstate or overseas
If you are interstate or overseas and you don't require a new licence photo, you can renew your licence at any time through your myVicRoads account.
If your licence renewal requires a new photo to be taken, you will also need to complete the Photo Kit form (PDF) and provide a photo that meets the Licence photo requirements.
Cancel your licence at VicRoads
You can apply for licence refund using the refund form (PDF). You can also submit a cancellation and refund request for deceased estate (PDF).
