Bike parking at stations
Find out which metro train stations have had their bike parking facilities upgraded.
As part of the Victorian Government’s investment in train travel and active transport across Victoria, we’re making changes at train stations to improve the experience for passengers.
This includes installing better facilities, safety features and accessibility improvements, so people have more ways to get to and from the station.
Helping more people ride to the station
Train station car parks are getting busier, so we’re giving commuters more options. Riding a bike to the station can also support health and wellbeing and is better for the environment.
That’s why we’re installing extra bike parking facilities at 12 metro stations across Melbourne’s east and west. This will make it easier and safer for passengers to park their bike and catch the train.
