- Check if the bus service your taking needs a myki. All public transport to and from the airport requires a myki card, other bus services have their own booking systems. More information on the types of airport bus services can be found below.

Buses toward Melbourne Airport depart Southern Cross Station from Bay 75 at the bus interchange on Spencer Street. You can’t use a myki on this service. |
| Airport West and Sunbury | Routes 478, 479 and 482 connect Melbourne Airport with Airport West and Sunbury. Bus routes 478, 479 and 482 use the bus interchange located on the ground floor of the T4 car park at Melbourne Airport. You need a myki to travel on these services. |
| Broadmeadows, Roxburgh Park, Epping and Greensborough | Route 901 runs seven days a week. On weekdays, it comes every 15 minutes during busy times and about every 30 minutes at other times and on weekends. Route 901 stops at the Melbourne Airport bus interchange, located on the ground floor of the T4 car park at Melbourne Airport. You need a myki to travel on this service. |
