Public transport disruptions
As part of Victoria’s Big Build, the Frankston Line will be another step closer to being boom –gate-free this autumn, with two more level crossings set to be gone for good in Mordialloc and Aspendale, and the new Mordialloc Station set to open to passengers.
Road disruptions
Works also progress on level crossing removals in Melton, Truganina, Newport in Melbourne’s west and Dandenong in the southeast.
Works continue on Victoria’s biggest road project - North East Link. This includes building twin tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen, the M80 Ring Road Completion and Eastern Freeway upgrades.
Other road upgrades are also underway across the north, west and southeast as part of Big Build Roads.
These works will cause train disruptions and delays on key roads and surrounding areas.
Be sure to check before you travel or take an alternative route if possible.
