Princes Highway West at Timboon-Colac Road

The Victorian and Australian Government are investing $12.5 million to improve safety at the intersection of the Princes Highway, Timboon-Colac Road and Nalangil Road, referred to locally as the ‘Blue Church’ intersection.

Plans for the project include:

  • A new roundabout, including new lighting and safety barriers, at the intersection of the Princes Highway, Timboon-Colac Road and Nalangil Road.
  • The roundabout will include two westbound exit lanes for Princes Highway West traffic, with single approach and departure lanes on Timboon-Colac and Nalangil Roads.
  • A 1.5m wide bicycle path on all roads at the intersection, with the exception of the northern Nalangil Road leg, which is anticipated to have little bicycle traffic.
