Old Western Highway landslip rectification

Major works to rectify a landslip on the Old Western Highway at Anthony’s Cutting were completed in October 2025. 

The 400-metre section of the highway has been rebuilt to repair the damaged road and the roadside slope has been stabilised to prevent erosion. These works were essential to protect the longevity of the roadside landscape of the area and improve safety for all road users travelling on this road.
