Sunbury Line moves through the new Metro Tunnel
Network changes with more services and destinations.
We've introduced a new timetable and connect the Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sunbury Line through the Metro Tunnel.
There are more than 1,000 new weekly services on the Sunbury Line, including turn up and go with trains every 5–10 minutes in peak hours.
Services won't stop at North Melbourne or the City Loop.
Connecting to the City Loop
You can change to a City Loop service at:
- Town Hall Station – via the Degraves Street Subway to Flinders Street Station
- State Library Station – via the underground concourse to Melbourne Central Station.
Getting to North Melbourne
You can change to a Werribee or Williamstown train at:
- Footscray Station.
