Lockwood Road (Bendigo-Maryborough Road) Pedestrian Operated Signals at Kangaroo Flat
Complete
Update July 2025 – works complete
Works are now complete, and the new pedestrian operated signals and wombat crossing are operational.
These signals provide a dedicated, safe crossing point across Lockwood Road for pedestrians, bike riders and other vulnerable road users. The new wombat crossing on Neil Street also offers a safer crossing point.
This now provides safer crossing from pedestrians and bike riders accessing the Bendigo Creek Trail, the Bendigo Special Developmental School and the Kangaroo Flat Library.
We thank local residents and road users for their patience while works were underway.
