Project update – April 2026

Metropolitan Ring Road noise wall replacement

We’ve completed works to replace the noise wall on Metropolitan Ring Road between Snow Street and Swan Street.

We thank the community for your patience during these important maintenance works.

Keilor Park Drive noise wall replacement

Between April and July 2026, crews will work on site to replace the noise wall, section by section, starting from Spence Street.

Crews will work on site at 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays.

During works, a lower speed limit will be in place on Keilor Park Drive and temporary fencing will be installed where crews are replacing sections of the wall.

You may notice periods of low to medium noise levels, vibrations, and dust – we’ll minimise these impacts as much as possible.

If we need to access your property during these works, we’ll let you know before works start.

Map showing where we’re replacing existing noise walls in Keilor Park.

Sections of existing noise walls on Keilor Park Drive and Metropolitan Ring Road in Keilor Park need to be replaced to improve their condition.

We’re replacing 360 meters of the existing noise wall on Keilor Park Drive between The Link and Spence Street and 375 meters of the noise wall on Metropolitan Ring Road between Snow Street and Swan Street.

The new noise walls will be the same height and length as the existing noise walls and will provide residents with stronger and long-lasting noise protection into the future.
