Hume Freeway rehabilitation works, Tallarook

We’re reconstructing a section of the Hume Freeway at Tallarook to provide a smoother, safer journey for all road users.

Overview

Works will be delivered on approximately 600 metres of the Hume Freeway on the southbound lane, between the Railway Overpass Bridge and the Tallarook southbound on-ramp, at Tallarook.

Our crews will be onsite during September and October for approximately four weeks.  Works will stop over the public holidays to minimise disruption.

Traffic impacts

  • Works will be delivered between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday – excluding public holidays.
  • There will be lane closures and 40km/hr speed reductions in place during the works with an expected delay of five to ten minutes. Traffic management crews will be on site to help you move through the area while we complete these important works.
  • Please observe changed traffic conditions, plan ahead and allow extra time.
