Overview
Works at the Goulburn Valley Highway-Labuan Road intersection focused on increasing visibility and awareness at the intersection for the improved safety of all road users.
Works included:
- Removal of a rail embankment crest on Labuan Road. This provides improved visibility for motorists approaching the Goulburn Valley Highway.
- Installation of a splitter island, new kerbing and rumble strips on Labuan Road. This helps to alert motorists that they are approaching a major intersection.

- Installation of electronic vehicle activated warning signs on the Goulburn Valley Highway, Labuan Road and Stokes Road. These signs are activated by vehicles moving toward the intersection to provide warning to other motorists that a vehicle is approaching.

- Sealing of the Stokes Road leg of the intersection.
- Installation of flag lighting.
