Derrimut Road and Boundary Road Intersection Upgrade
We're upgrading the Derrimut, Hopkins and Boundary roads intersection in Tarneit and Truganina to improve traffic flow and safety.

What we’re doing
The upgrade will:
- replace the temporary traffic lights with permanent traffic lights
- add dedicated right-turning lanes on all intersection approaches
- add shared lanes to go straight or turn left on Boundary and Hopkins roads
- add a dedicated left turning lane on Derrimut Road
- improve drainage
- install new street lighting, and
- relocate and protect existing utility services to accommodate the road upgrade.
