Monaro Highway rehabilitation works, Chandlers Creek

We're rebuilding approximately 1km of the Monaro Highway in Chandlers Creek, between Buldah Road and the NSW border.

These rehabilitation works will restore the condition of the road surface.

We'll be on site between 6am and 6pm, from mid-October to November 2026, with the possibility of some weekend works.

During works, lane closures will be in place, with reduced speed limits to keep crews and road users safe.

Please note: These dates and times are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Monaro Highway landslip and culvert repairs

Further works will take place on the Monaro Highway south of the rehabilitation works from late 2026.

The works will include landslip and culvert repairs, new safety barriers and road surface improvements.

We will provide further information closer to the start date.
