M80 Ring Road and Princes Freeway interchange bridge repair works
We’re carrying out essential bridge repairs on the ramp from the M80 Ring Road to the Princes Freeway towards Geelong.
Planned
Update - October 2026
We’re undertaking bridge repairs on the ramp from the M80 Ring Road to the Princes Freeway towards Geelong, after a truck rollover caused extensive damage. This includes replacing damaged safety barriers, strengthening parts of the bridge structure and other general repairs on the bridge.
Overnight closures will be required before works start to allow crews to complete line marking and safely set up traffic management. Once works are completed, additional overnight closures will be required to remove traffic management.
While the bridge repair works are underway, there will be a 24/7 single lane closure in place.
When to expect us
Works are expected to commence on Tuesday 13 October 2026 and be completed in late November 2026.
Please note, dates and times are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
