The signals have improved safety for public and active transport users, and improved connectivity between residential, recreational and commercial areas.

The new signals include a footpath with safety fencing on the centre median and improved street lighting, making it safer for pedestrians and bike riders to cross and reducing the likelihood and severity of crashes.

The new signals are linked to the nearby traffic signals to minimise any impacts to traffic flow.

The works also include a raised safety platform to improve the crossing on the left slip lane to Princes Highway.
