We’ve installed road safety barriers on two sections of the Great Ocean Road between Port Campbell and Princetown to improve safety and reduce roadside hazards.

Update – November 2026
Works to install safety barriers on two sections of the Great Ocean Road between Princetown Road and Plantation Road (near the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge) are complete.
These works were completed to improve safety and reduce roadside hazards for visitors and road users.
The project was a partnership between the Great Ocean Road and Parks Authority and Department of Transport and Planning.
