Cobden-Port Campbell Road landslip works
We’re delivering landslip geotechnical works to protect the longevity of the natural roadside landscape and improve safety for all road users.
Underway
These works are being delivered at:
- Cobden-Port Campbell Road, approximately 8kms south of Cobden, between Dingleys Road and Digneys Bridge Road.
This landslip rectification project is part of the Great Ocean Road and Inland Routes program. Click here for more information on the landslip projects.
Update – October 2026
Works to repair two landslip sites on Cobden-Port Campbell Road are progressing well.
The rectification of the first landslip is complete. Crews have now moved to the second landslip site nearby, within the same local road boundaries outlined above.
Crews are on site from Monday to Friday, between 7am and 6pm, with the possibility of weekend work.
Traffic management and disruptions include:
- One-lane, two-way traffic management. Traffic will travel on a single lane through the work site. Crews are available during work hours to help traffic move through the area.
- Temporary traffic lights and electronic message boards.
- Reduced speed limits to keep drivers and workers safe.
- Delays of up to five minutes when moving through the site.
Works are expected to be completed in late 2026.
Please note: dates and times are subject to change due to site and weather conditions.
