2027 Youth myki design competition winner announced
A new Youth myki card is on the way – meet the young Victorian behind the winning design!
08/10/2026
Victoria’s young creatives were invited to design the next Youth myki card, with the winning design set to feature on a new card available online from January 2027.
The competition attracted thousands of colourful and creative entries from young Victorians across the state.
Three standout designs were shortlisted, with Victorians invited to vote for their favourite. More than 20,000 votes were cast to help decide the winner.
On Wednesday 7 October 2026, 12-year-old Ryan was announced as the winner, with his colourful design set to feature on the new Youth myki card.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered and voted, and congratulations to our other finalists, Ned and Manahil.
We can’t wait to see Ryan’s winning design on Youth myki cards across the network.
