Telstra network outage affecting V/Line trains and some ticketing devices

A major Telstra network outage is currently affecting V/Line services and some devices that rely on the mobile network across the tram network.
As a result, all V/Line train services are currently being held, with only limited replacement coach services available. Passengers are encouraged to seek alternative transport and check for the latest service information before commencing their journey.
Some customers may also be unable to use tap and go payment (contactless bank card and digital wallet payments) on trams which rely on mobile connectivity.
Customers using myki can continue to tap on and tap off as normal, although some recent online top ups may not be immediately available on impacted buses and trams.
Customers are encouraged to continue to tap on and tap off whenever possible.
