Road safety resources for teachers
The Road Safety Education Victoria website is a one stop shop for all road safety resources for teachers. The new curriculum 2.0 aligned resources are as follows:

| Active Travel | This unit empowers students to become active, safe and responsible travellers by exploring how transport choices affect their health, communities and the environment. | |
| Aware Wolf Quiz | This is a fun, interactive online quiz that assists students to understand safe behaviour around trains, trams, and stations. This will be used as a resource in the Active Travel units of work. | |
| Minecraft Games and Resources | An interactive game-based activity that supports students to make safe choices in and around transport. | |
| Protective Behaviour/Safety | This unit assists students to recognise and apply protective behaviours and help-seeking strategies to keep themselves, their peers, and their community safe on roads, public transport, and across the broader transport network. | Coming in April 2026 |
| STEM (Physics) | This Year 9/10 physics unit explores road safety by examining vehicle motion, safety technologies, and applying mathematical modelling to understand the factors that affect road use. |

Learn Safe Travel with Metro Trains and Yarra Trams
Discover two engaging programs that build confidence and safety on Melbourne’s public transport network.
The Metro Trains Community Education program offers free, tailored sessions for schools and community groups to learn positive, safe behaviour around trains. The Yarra Trams School Education Program delivers fun, interactive presentations led by Authorised Officers to help students, teachers and parents understand how to stay safe on and around trams and tracks.
