‘Reflections of the flow’
A series of eight vibrant collage panels celebrating iconic Wyndham landscapes, including Werribee Mansion, Victoria State Rose Garden, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Wyndham Harbour, Werribee River, Point Cook Wetlands, You Yangs and Werribee Beach
Using intricate collage techniques, the works blend magazine clippings, origami and hand-painted acrylic papers. This layering of diverse textures serves as a visual metaphor for the Wyndham community itself, a rich tapestry of people from many countries, cultures and backgrounds, coming together to create a harmonious and colourful picture.
About the artist
Ayelet Brooks is a Point Cook based visual artist and muralist. In her practice, she explores unexpected perspectives, experiments with bold, joyful colour combinations and infuses her work with a subtle touch of humour.
