Richmond Station

'Together in Motion' by artists Lucy Lucy and Katira (Future Cultures).

Together in Motion celebrates Richmond's vibrant sporting and cultural precinct through a dynamic contemporary artwork that captures the energy of movement and shared experiences.

Through this artwork, artists Lucy Lucy and Katira (Future Cultures) aim to create a welcoming and memorable experience that fosters connection, celebrates diversity, and reflects the enduring role of sport and culture in bringing people together.

A diverse cast of athletes, musicians, spectators and commuters reflects the many communities that converge in this iconic destination. Warm tones inspired by Australia's vivid sunsets, together with stylised gum trees woven throughout the composition, evoke a strong sense of place and the unique character of Melbourne.

About the artist
