Report a hazard
Call 13 11 70.
This number operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. It's for all urgent road hazards and anything that presents immediate danger.
Always call 000 in an emergency situation.
Report a level crossing fault
- Metropolitan level crossings: 1800 001 050
- Regional and rural crossings: 1800 013 007
This includes faulty level crossing boom gates. Both numbers are open 24 hours and are free of charge.
Non-urgent road issue or safety related enquiry
You can submit a report or enquiry form to report non-urgent road issues which don't present an immediate danger.
You can also ask about road safety and road rules or make a roadworks or construction enquiry.
Examples of non-urgent road issues:
- general enquiries
- faded line marking
- small potholes
- fallen signage
- rubbish and vegetation
- graffiti.
