The Esplanade, Mount Martha landslip rectification works
We’re delivering important maintenance works on The Esplanade in Mount Martha between Bradford Road and Ellerina Road.
Planned
What we're doing
As part of the state-wide maintenance program, we’ll be undertaking drainage works at the site to allow us to reinstate the 60km/h speed limit on The Esplanade between Bradford Road and Ellerina Road.
As part of this project, we will be reinstating the table drain to its previous condition and installing rock beaching to prevent future erosion.
When to expect us
Crews will be working on The Esplanade between Bradford Road and Ellerina Road from Monday 15 April to Friday 19 April 2024 between 8am and 4pm, weather permitting.
What to expect
- The Esplanade will be closed with a signed detour in place via The Esplanade, Bradford Road, Forest Drive, Nepean Highway, and Bruce Road.
- Buses will be escorted through the work zone with assistance from traffic management controllers.
- Access for emergency services will be maintained.
- Medium - high noise levels.
- Crews will be on site between Monday to Friday.
- Residents on the service road will still have access during works, however traffic management will be on site to allow them to move through the site safely when works are underway.
