We’ve delivered vital maintenance works on Earl Street and Asquith Street between Tennyson Street and Belford Road in Kew.

These works involved replacing layers of the road, asphalt resurfacing and line marking to restore the condition of the road surface.

Background

Victoria’s road network provides the connections that communities rely on every day. It ensures people and goods can get where they need to go, when they need to get there.

Across Victoria, Transport Victoria manages around 23,000 kilometres of arterial road network, as well as 3,180 bridges and more than 4,800 other structures.

Maintenance is an essential part of managing Victoria’s road network. A functioning and well-maintained network supports safer and more reliable journeys for all road users.

This work is being delivered as part of the Victorian Government’s $964 million investment in the Victorian 2024-25 road maintenance program.
