2021 UITP Global Public Transport Summit moves to December
In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Department of Transport and UITP have made the joint decision to move the UITP Global Public Transport Summit to 14–17 December 2021.
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has presented great challenges to the global transport community, meaning coming together to discuss the challenges facing our industry is now more important than ever.
The Summit will allow thousands of the greatest minds in transport from around the world to come together in Melbourne to discuss how we address our long-term challenges in the mobility space under the theme of ‘Mobility for life’.
The Summit will be a unique opportunity to explore how countries have responded to this unprecedented crisis and discuss what the transport landscape will look like in years to come.
The challenges of the future are not local, but global, and events like the 2021 Global Public Transport Summit allow us to plan for and meet those challenges.
UITP is the international association for public transport, and the summit is the largest global event dedicated to sustainable mobility. The Department of Transport is hosting the
UITP Summit in Melbourne in 2021 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
