We have completed noise wall replacement works on the South Gippsland Freeway in Hallam.

Project details

We replaced a 720 metre stretch of noise wall on the South Gippsland Freeway in Hallam, between Frawley Street and the Princes Highway.

As part of these works, we:

  • Removed the posts and panels of the existing failing timber noise wall.
  • Installed new galvanised steel posts and new noise wall panels. 

The new noise wall panels are made from 75% recycled material and will ensure that we are able to continue providing residents with stronger and more sustainable noise protection into the future.
