The Victorian Government is investing in Gisborne and New Gisborne to create more efficient and safer connections to support the growing communities and local economy.
We’re building safer intersections to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow, while informing visitors about the significance and history of the area. Find out more:
- Saunders Road and Station Road, New Gisborne intersection upgrade
We've improved traffic flow and safety for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to support the local economy and population growth of the Gisborne area.
Works were completed in November 2021.
- Melbourne Road and Kilmore Road intersection upgrade
We’re upgrading the intersection of Melbourne Road and Kilmore Road to ensure all those who use the road experience a safe journey whether they are driving, walking or cycling.
Works commenced February 2022.
- Gisborne Mains Homestead heritage site
Signs at the Gisborne Mains Homestead heritage site are informing visitors about the significance and history of this area.
