Warburton-Woods Point Road landslip repairs

We’re repairing a landslip on Warburton-Woods Point Road in Jericho to ensure the safety of all road users.

Published date:

We’ve already completed some works to prevent further road damage, and now we’re mobilising crews to complete landslip repairs.

The landslip is located on Warburton-Woods Point Road, approximately 4.5 kilometres southwest of Mount Matlock.

When to expect us

Landslip repair works are expected to take place from Monday 27 November to Friday 1 December. Crews will work during the day from 7am to 5pm, with no works to occur on weekends.

Please note, these dates and times are subject to change due to weather conditions.

What to expect

  • One lane closed on Warburton-Woods Point Road near the landslip site, with traffic management controllers directing traffic to safely pass the work site.
  • A temporary speed limit reduction of 40km/h near the work site to ensure the safety of crews and all road users.

What we’re doing

To repair the landslip we’re:

  • Upgrading and repairing drainage.
  • Excavating and reconstructing the damaged section of road.

Environment

We share the value that the local community places on the environment. We will work to minimise and offset any vegetation impacts.
