From 29 August 2023, the VicTraffic App will be decommissioned. All existing app users will be provided a button to direct you to the newly upgraded VicTraffic website.

Why are you decommissioning the App?
We recently improved the VicTraffic website, introducing new features and uplifting performance. The VicTraffic website is also now a progressive web app which means it can look and behave the same as a normal app. Because of this, the old VicTraffic App is no longer required.
We will continue to enhance the experience of the VicTraffic website and look forward to sharing these improvements with you as they become available.
I have the app. What does this mean for me?
From 29 August 2023, the VicTraffic App will redirect you to the VicTraffic website. We will also provide instructions on how you can add the website to your home screen, providing the same easy access as an app. The VicTraffic website is mobile optimised and is just as easy to navigate as the App.
How can I access the website easily, like I can with the app?
You can create an icon on your smartphone which will provide the same easy access as an app. Here is how to do this:
- Open your phone's web browser.
- Visit our website at traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au
- Tap the share icon or options menu.
- Look for "Add to Home Screen" or a similar option.
- Customize the name if you like, or leave it as is.
- Tap "Add" or "Done" to create the shortcut.
- You'll now find our website icon on your home screen.
Now you can easily access our website with just a tap.
