Road closures for Run Melbourne, Sunday 21 July 2024

Run Melbourne is back on Sunday 21 July 2024.

Published date:

15/07/2024

There are three main events – the half-marathon, 10km run and 5.5km run/walk. All courses start at Batman Avenue and take in many of Melbourne’s iconic landmarks such as Flinders Street Station, Marvel Stadium, The Arts Centre, the Botanical Gardens and Melbourne Olympic Parks.

Public Transport is the best way to get to the event as parking will be restricted and road closures for the marathon will be in force from 3am until 1.30pm Sunday 21 July.

Road closures will be in place from 3:45am on Sunday to allow the event to run safely. Road closures will be lifted in stages and all roads will be by 12.30pm.  Public transport services will also be affected.

If you are travelling in the area, plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
