Monbulk Seville Road maintenance

Update - April 2024

We sealed a section of Monbulk-Seville Road, approximately 250 meters south of Holden Road to repair damaged areas and improve the condition of the road surface. 

Background

Our geotechnical engineers assessed a section of unstable ground and identified an active landslip on Monbulk-Seville Road near the intersection with Charteris Road. 

For safety reasons, Monbulk-Seville Road was closed between Ferndale Road and Parker Road.

We removed 18 trees that became unstable during the landslip. We worked with an ecologist and fauna specialist to ensure the safety of wildlife during vegetation removal works. Additional drainage works were undertaken to reduce water pooling under the road surface.

We appreciate the impact these works have on the community and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we restored the road and delivered a safer journey for all.
