Bicycle education program for school students

School program resources

There are four units of the Bike Ed school program.

Each unit is designed to be run across 8-10 classes (approximately 45 minutes each) and is accompanied by a unit plan, full lesson plans and the teaching resources to run the activities.

Unit 1 (Years 1-2): Becoming a bike rider

Unit 2 (Years 3-4): Getting ready to ride on paths

Unit 3 (Years 5-6): Getting ready to ride on roads

Unit 4 (Years 7-8): Riding independently
